Short Break Service
Our team is equipped to provide all aspects of home care, including personal care, social support, and assistance with everyday tasks such as preparing meals or accompanying them on outings. This service not only allows you the valuable time to rest and recharge but also gives the person you care for the opportunity to engage with someone new, which can be a refreshing change in their routine.
Before accessing a sitting service, an assessment is typically required to ensure that the care provided meets the specific needs of the individual. This assessment process can vary, ranging from a simple conversation with us to a more formal evaluation conducted by the local social work office.
Carer’s assessment
Additionally, it is important to request a carer’s assessment from your local council. This assessment focuses on your needs as a carer, ensuring you receive the necessary support to continue your caregiving role effectively. This support might include regular respite care and breaks tailored to your circumstances.
