Care at Home Service
We understand the importance of giving people choices about where they spend their final days and how they are cared for. In partnership with the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, our staff receive specialised training in End of Life care, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to offer the highest standard of support during this sensitive time.
Our training emphasises core principles and competencies, with a strong focus on communication skills. Effective communication is crucial in addressing the needs of individuals nearing the end of life, as well as those of their families and carers. Our staff are trained to ensure that these needs are identified, responded to, and met with the utmost respect, compassion, and dignity.
Additionally, our staff are adept at participating in multi-disciplinary team assessments and sharing vital information with other care and health practitioners. This collaborative approach ensures that all assessments are holistic and comprehensive.
Advance Care Planning
Our care staff and Service Managers are thoroughly trained in Advance Care Planning guidelines for End of Life care. We are committed to ensuring that your care plan is communicated clearly and respected at all times, providing you and your loved ones with peace of mind and a supportive environment during this important phase of life.

Our out of hours service operates outwith the hours above. Out of these hours we have a dedicated 24/7 on call service which is automatically directed to the on call Manager via our main office number.
