All are provided by fully qualified practitioners and are funded by the day service. We also have a visiting chiropodist who charges a reduced fee. Our aim is to promote and encourage physical activity, following the guidelines of the Care Inspectorate’s CAPA (Care about Physical Activity) programme. We will support you, if you wish, to help around the centre with simple tasks such as washing up, light housework and gardening. We believe that doing so increases confidence and independence and wellness.

We also offer traditional activities such as

You will have the chance to be involved in various initiatives such as Lingo Flamingo where you have the opportunity to discover a foreign language and culture and Loop Theatre which produces visual art work based on your life stories.

Men’s Shed

There is a Men’s Shed on site and is used as a place for our male service users to take part in activities it is also used as a cinema room with a projector and a collection of popular films and there is a multi-games table.

A fortnightly shop sells sweets, fruit and small personal items and is operated by service users.

Client Committee

You may want to become a member of our Client Committee which is fully involved in decision making about the service and what we do. We evidence everything we do in a “You Said We Did” format. Your family can see this when they visit our service.
