Home care and respite services available in Baillieston, Shettleston, Easterhouse, Parkhead, and throughout the East End of Glasgow.

Baillieston Community Care Limited is a not for profit organisation and registered charity, which has been established since 1992. The organisation specialises in providing a variety of quality care and support services aimed at maintaining individuals independence within their own homes and the community.

We provide a 24-hour service for people who reside within the North East of Glasgow City, however individual referrals out with these boundaries may be considered. Currently we operate three separate service divisions, Care at Home Service, Dementia Short Break Service & Dementia Day Care. Our aim is to firmly establish Baillieston Community Care as the area’s preferred choice for both home care & dementia day care.

Where is our Head Office?

We share our building with Police Scotland, and when you arrive at the building and enter reception, the entrance to our office is to the right of the police reception.

Our opening times are:
Monday – Thursday: 08:45 – 4:45pm
Friday: 08:45 – 3:55pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Out of hours service operates at weekend & public holidays.
Office and out of hours number: 0141 771 6478 (24 hours)

Out of these hours we have a dedicated 24/7 on call service which is automatically directed to the on call Manager via our main office number.

Our Quality Assurance
We operate a comprehensive quality assurance programme which includes regular client reviews, questionnaires, spot-checks, observational monitoring, staff supervision, staff assessments, performance reviews and a comments and complaints procedure that you can access should you have concerns with any aspect of your care.

Our Commitment to you
Through investment in our staff and technology we are able to provide personalised support packages to suit your needs and individual budgets. Within our dedicated team of staff, you will have a Team Leader who will oversee the delivery of your care package, ensuring quality, continuity and consistency when you need it most.

Our services are delivered by Staff who are subject to comprehensive recruitment checks including induction and full training. Mandatory training includes; Moving & Handling, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety. More Specialised training is purchased as required by the needs of the individual. Staff are also given the opportunity to study for vocational training and other college based learning.

Our office based team uses the latest technology to co-ordinate your care, and with remote access it can be managed by our on call team 24 hours a day. We are registered with the care inspectorate and follow all professional guidelines, with each of our services subject to inspection on an annual basis. Our most recent inspection report is available to you upon request.
