The Care Technologist role, created by Scottish Care and trialled at Baillieston Community Care, played a pivotal role in ushering in a new era of care at home by integrating technology devices. This project allowed IMPACT (Improving Adult Care Together) to understand what people receiving a care at home service expected from technology, and also allowed them to identify any barriers that may have been experienced.
