We have created a bright new dining room at Bealach House Day Centre from what was previously our main lounge. It was felt that this space would be better used as a dining room.
As you can see from the pictures above, we have opened up the space by creating a serving hatch from the kitchen, making it easier and safer for staff to serve food to our service users. The room was plastered and redecorated and new lighting installed. We also purchased new dining room tables and chairs along with new blinds and soft furnishings.
The new dining room now accommodates 16 people comfortably and it is our intention to apply to the Care Inspectorate to increase our registration from 12 users per day to 16.
