Baillieston Community Care is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Advanced Technology Solutions
Together, we’re introducing Homesight by Vantiva — an innovative system that connects older adults to caregivers, family, friends, and professionals using technology they already know and trust: their television. This simple and secure platform creates a direct line of support, empowering people to live independently for longer, with dignity and peace of mind.
Recognising the potential of this technology, we reached out to Homesight with the vision of integrating their devices into our ongoing Care Technology Project. They shared our ambition and generously provided 11 devices free of charge for us to pilot with a small group of service users.
As part of this partnership, we’ll be producing a series of informative materials highlighting the benefits of the Homesight system — including how the device works, how it’s installed, and how it supports wellbeing at home.
We’re excited to trial these devices with a select group of individuals who we believe will benefit most. The system allows loved ones to connect via video call through a smartphone app, while service users can easily initiate a call to their family or friends directly from their TV.
ATS shared their enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating:
“ATS is very excited to partner with the fantastic team at Baillieston Community Care to get the HomeSight system in the hands of users and their families and friends. We’re looking forward to working closely with Baillieston Community Care to define and develop services around the system to keep people well, independent and happy. We think that the passion, insight and ambition that the team at BCC has for the people they support is truly outstanding, and we’re so pleased that we can be part of their story.”
