This week marks the beginning of #CarersWeek2025, and at Baillieston Community Care & Extended Personal Care, we proudly recognise the incredible work unpaid carers do in our communities every single day.

Whether it’s a family member, friend, neighbour, or someone simply going the extra mile – unpaid carers provide unwavering support, often behind the scenes and without recognition. Their compassion and commitment are nothing short of inspiring.

Our Chief Executive, David Reilly, shared a heartfelt message to mark the occasion:

“I would like to take this opportunity to recognise and acknowledge the crucial role carers – and unpaid carers in particular – play in the lives of those they support. Their dedication, selflessness and resilience are the backbone of our care system, and we are deeply grateful for all they do.”
