Baillieston Community Care were delighted to welcome Paul Sweeny MSP – Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Glasgow Region, to our Head Office.

We discussed the realities facing social care in Glasgow and across Scotland, including increasing demand that cannot be met within current public funding. We also showcased our work in care technology, using practical, person-led tools to support independence, improve outcomes and ease pressure on frontline teams. Sustained investment in the third sector is essential to secure long-term sustainability and ensure we can continue delivering a high standard of care for the people we support in our city.
