Care at Home Services in Baillieston, Easterhouse, Shettleston, Parkhead and Throughout Glasgow East End.

Our care at home service is available to anyone aged 16 years or over, and is offered to people with a wide range of conditions including:

Neurological conditions/Physical Disabilities
Including: Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Injuries, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Stroke, Learning disabilities, Cognitive Impairment, Alcohol Related Brain Damage (ARBD), Mental Health issues
Supported Living Assistance
Helping with employment and education
Domestic Support
Family respite Befriending
Dementia Care
Social Support
Palliative Care

We operate a 24-hour service with an open referral system (this means that anyone can request this service) for people who reside within the East End of the city.

Our Service charges
Baillieston Community Care is a registered charity and a non-profit making organisation. Our home Care service receives no grant funding therefore, we charge for the services we provide. We are able to provide personalised support packages to suit your individual budgets. Any enquires regarding service charges should be directed to our Operations Manager. All money raised contributes to staff and service development.

Our Assessment Procedure
Upon receipt of referral, we will make an appointment with you to introduce the company, identify your needs and suitability, and establish your care package through a comprehensive care assessment.

Our services include:
Personal care
Assistance with getting out of bed, washing, bathing & dressing. We also provide assistance with toileting including catheter, colostomy and incontinence care. Our evening services comprise of assistance with getting ready for bed, tuck-in and overnight stay.
Well-being support
Services include shopping, preparation and cooking of meals, management of prescribed medicines and prescription collection. We can also support with visits to GP and other health professionals.
Social support
Services include befriending and sitter service where staff provide physical and emotional support to clients and promote and encourage social networking.
Domestic Support
Our Support Staff are able to offer assistance with household tasks such as:

• Vacuuming & Dusting
• Laundry
• Kitchen & bathroom hygiene
• Ironing
